If your break is jam-packed already, have no fear! This 10-minute writing exercise is quick, simple and sure to channel your creativity onto the page whenever you have some down time. All you need is a pencil, 10 minutes and a timer!
Switch up your perspective
Craving a challenge? Try taking one of your old poems or stories and rewriting it from a different point of view. For example, if you've written about an experience you had with your mother, try rewriting it from her point of view. Better yet, dig deep and pick a piece that involves conflict. Try to understand and empathize with the other party then rewrite the piece from their perspective.
